DESCRIPTION: Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "Juno" figural swinging clock, 8 day, time only, spring driven movement mounted inside a nickel plated brass sphere with cast ribbon ornament and applied Arabic numerals, with Louis XV style hands, all supported by patinated spelter figure of a Roman goddess standing atop a cast spelter pedestal.
CONDITION: figure an unusually clean brown patination over the spelter casting. Very small losses in places. The sphere may have once had a colored finish, but now has a tarnished nickel plated surface. Hands and cast ornaments appear to be correct. Movement is signed by Ansonia Clock Co. and is also stamped "A 22 ".
